We began by talking about the state Mothers of Multiples organization. 23 should all be receiving the next newsletter directly from the state. At this time our group is still not on the states website.
We discussed the clothes swap that was brought up at the end of last year. An email was sent regarding this to see if there is any interest.
We then talked about the general meetings. This year we ask that everyone attending a meeting bring a dish of your choice to pass. Also, because we no longer have hostesses everyone will be responsible for their own beverages (ie water, pop, coffee...)
We talked about upcoming activities. The church will once again throw the Halloween party. The holiday party will be December 19th from 6-8 pm.
We briefly talked about the fundraiser. Thought of a few ideas, what's worked in the past and what has not. We will revisit this topic.
We discussed possible speakers for our general meetings. They included: Love and Logic, fire safety, a math/reading specialist, "tricky people", and meal planning.
We then scheduled the rest of the board meetings.
We wrapped up by 10pm.
