Halloween Party!!

The wonderful people of the Community of Christ Church (where we hold our monthly meetings) have offered to once again, host a Halloween party for all of our kiddos! Please come dressed in Halloween costumes and prepare the kids to have LOTS of fun!

Meeting Minutes

General Membership Meeting 9-12-13

The meeting started around 7:35.  We talked about membership.  Please be sure to get your membership forms in ASAP if you have not already done so and let Debbie know you have so you can be sure to be in the directory.  We also discussed the fall sale/swap.  There were a few people interested in either buying or selling items.  Kerry Bennett said she may be able to arrange something at her house for everyone interested.  If you would like to participate, 

contact her to get a date.  

The meeting ended about 8:15pm

Board Meeting 10-4-13

The meeting started around 8pm with Lisa, Barb, Debbie, Denise, Sarah, and   Carmen.  We discussed membership and went through last years directory and compared it to this years membership forms and talked about this years directory.  We then briefly talked about the Halloween party and Holiday party. The church has volunteered to do the Halloween party but we are waiting for them to get back with us with a date.  Santa is ready for the holiday party.  We are using the same santa we have had the past few years.  That will be held on December 19th from 6-8 pm.  We decided to try something new this year.  We are hoping it will boost participation as attendance has been low at both general meetings as well as moms nights out.  We will do meetings at the church the third Thursday every other month.  The "off" months we will do a moms night out.  We will be starting this the 3rd Thursday in October with bowling.  Please look for more info on this to come.  This will be great as most of us already have this night set aside and will be able to get together!  November we will meet at the church.  December is the holiday party.  January will be "out", Feburary at the church, March will be "out", April will be at the church, and May will be the installation dinner.  Please look for more info on all of these events as they get closer.   We talked briefly about shopping in December once again as well as going to Painting with a twist again.  We then discussed in great depth Lisa's recent abduction by aliens and the "plug" they have put in behind her ear.  And followed that up by talking of the fundraiser.  We are looking into possible ideas, perhaps improv.  The meeting ended around 9:30

October Meeting = Moms Night Out!

We will be spending our meeting might out this month!

We are trying something new, and we hope everyone can come and have a fun night away with us!

Bowling is $3.25 per game, plus $3 for shoe rental. They have food and drinks available to purchase while we are there also.

Even if you don't bowl, please still come and hang out and have a good night out!
